Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) and the Commission on Adult Basic Education (COABE). KAACE works hard to maintain our affiliation with both of these well-respected international organizations.

We believe that it is important for adult education practitioners to join together to accomplish our main goal as advocates for programs and students. Because we want all adult educators to benefit from everything that KAACE has to offer, KAACE keeps its membership fee as low as possible. For only $20 you can join KAACE and receive the many benefits of membership. In addition to adding your voice to our advocacy efforts, as a KAACE member you are eligible to attend regional meetings and KAACE member functions such as the annual meeting, nominate your most accomplished students for scholarships and recognition, apply for member scholarships, and participate in elections and on committees.

Each year, KAACE holds at least one professional development event, often in cooperation with Kentucky Adult Education, Council on Postsecondary Education. KAACE provides leadership and helps develop sessions that meet the needs of Kentucky’s professional adult educators. Informal networks and collegial friendships that last many years develop as a result of these activities.
